Dusk Reader creates and applies dark themes to websites, lets users customize brightness, contrast, sepia and fonts, and saves per-site dark mode preferences.

Data processed by the extension

The extension may read website content and page styles in the browser so it can generate a dark theme for the page the user is viewing. This processing happens locally on the user's device.

The extension stores settings such as activation state, theme settings, automation preferences, font preferences, and per-site lists using browser storage.

Data sharing

Dusk Reader does not sell user data. The extension does not use website content for advertising, credit checks, lending decisions, or data brokerage. Website content is not transferred to the developer for dark theme generation.

Payments

Dusk Reader Plus may be purchased through a payment provider. Payment information is handled by that provider according to its own policies.
